General Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred
• Proven experience in accounting or financial roles
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• High level of integrity and ethical standards

Job Description

The General Accounting Specialist will be responsible for:

• Preparing and maintaining financial records, reports, and general ledgers
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and budgets
• Conducting reconciliations of accounts and resolving any discrepancies
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Assisting with tax preparation and compliance activities
• Contributing to the improvement of accounting processes and procedures
• Collaborating with internal teams and external auditors as needed
• Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
• Providing support for financial analysis and decision-making
• Participating in special projects and initiatives as required
