Trustlife Labs under the umbrella of Trustlife Ventures Lab Sağlık Teknolojileri AŞ in Istanbul/Turkey (TRUSTLIFE (trustlifeventures.com)) develops novel drug candidates for the treatment of several metabolic diseases and different types of cancer, under the leadership of Prof. Adil Mardinoglu. We are seeking highly motivated Analytical Chemist, with a strong interest in scientific projects. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently but also to work efficiently in an international team setting. All research projects of ours are highly collaborative. The exposure to highly collaborative research projects and the members of the research teams should be intellectually stimulating. The projects will be carried out in the Trustlife Labs in Istanbul, Turkey. The Laboratory is located near the Istanbul Finance Center, Umraniye in the Anatolian part of Istanbul.

Trustlife Labs is an international resource of unique technologies and expertise available to scientists, closely intertwined with the community of researchers in areas such as drug discovery, organic synthesis, drug formulation and molecular biology. Trustlife Labs mainly focuses on the use of drug design based on computational chemistry and medicinal chemistry to produce novel compounds for therapeutic targets to treat diseases. Trustlife Labs research group currently possesses qualified and experienced post-doctoral researchers working in the research and development with an emphasis on the design and synthesis of new drug substances and natural products as well as the discovery of drugs to treat unmet medical needs in the world. Moreover, Trustlife Ventures Lab intends to perform in vitro studies and to design experimental plans for in-vivo studies. It works with customized cell lines.

RESEARCHER (ANALYTICAL CHEMIST) POSITION:

Novel drug targets have been identified for several projects including NAFLD, Muscle sarcopenia, Liver Cancer, Kidney Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Prostate Adenocarcinoma and GBM via Artificial Intelligence & Systems Biology. Moreover, novel drug candidates are designed and synthesized within the projects. Additional 6 projects on different indications have recently started as well.

Within the scope of this add, Analytical Chemists will be hired to characterize novel compounds via different analytical tools.

Projects are carried out at the Trustlife Labs under the supervision Prof. Adil Mardinoglu. Projects run under collaboration with international research teams, will provide an opportunity to practice cutting edge medicinal chemistry in an interdisciplinary context and that directly impacts the discovery of new therapeutics for global unmet medical needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must have received a BSc/ MSc in Analytical Chemistry. We encourage applications from candidates with Extensive laboratory experience with and in-depth knowledge of conventional laboratory techniques including HPLC/UPLC, LCMS experience. The Analytical Chemistry team provides ongoing analytical services to the R&D teams, and also develops and transfers new analytical methods.

•  Experience in analytical development in support of drug product formulation development.
• Mass spectrometry experience.
• Preferably, experience with reverse-phase HPLC (RP-HPLC) including method development experience.
• Must be self-motivated and have an excellent problem-solving approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good team-working and interpersonal skills are required.
• Fluency in English.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Responsible for method development and execution of analytical techniques.
• Support drug product development including characterization of the process and finished products.
• Provide high-quality data and detailed analysis of data.
• Conduct experiments independently and in collaboration with colleagues to support project goals.
• This position requires hands on experience and knowledge in small molecule pharmaceutical analysis and formulation.
• The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with other team members and present results to development teams.
