QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a qualified HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Field Supervisor to join our team at Adana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all health, safety, and environmental activities in the field during the construction phase of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the construction site to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and environmental risks.
- Collaborate closely with project management, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
- Provide training and guidance to workers on HSE regulations, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate records of HSE inspections, incidents, training, and compliance documentation.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance indicators, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in project meetings, reviews, and audits to communicate HSE status, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Turkish national with a minimum of 4 years of experience in HSE supervision within the construction industry, preferably in industrial projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in implementing HSE programs and managing safety and environmental risks in a construction environment.
- Familiarity with relevant HSE regulations, codes, and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence others to promote a safety culture.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on identifying and mitigating HSE risks.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and HSE software tools.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, NEBOSH, OSHA 30-Hour) will be considered an asset.
