Projects and Affiliates Procurement Leader

We are looking for a "Projects and Affiliates Procurement Leader" with the following qualifications to work within the Procurement Unit of Sabancı University.

The workplace is Sabancı University Campus in Tuzla.

• Preferably graduated from engineering departments of universities,

• At least 5 years of experience in procurement management,

• Having knowledge of the Public Procurement Law or Foundation Higher Education Institutions Purchasing Regulation legislation,

• Fluent in English,

• Experience in SAP and electronic procurement software,

• Effective communication, teamwork, planning and organization competencies,

• Result-oriented and with analytical thinking ability,

• Good problem solving and negotiation skills,

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Continuously carry out the work of the Procurement unit together with the personnel assigned to this task.

• Responsible for operating transactions such as purchase and sale of goods and services, construction, purchase and sale of real estate, renting and leasing for the institution, in accordance with the relevant regulations, directives and procedures.

• Ensure that all personnel working within the unit act in line with the determined procurement policy and procurement procedure, and to centralize and carry out all procurement activities.

• Make regular reports on unit processes and to make suggestions for the improvement of these processes.

• Ensure communication and coordination with the procurement unit and other units.

• Keep working principles, efficiency, quality, solidarity, savings, motivation, institutional loyalty and work discipline at the highest level. Ensure compliance of the Procurement unit with the institution's strategic goals, policies and procedures, and work towards their adoption and establishment.

• Carry out the University's processes within the scope of projects and the procurement processes of the companies that are affiliated with the University. Support and back up the duties and responsibilities of the Procurement Manager.

• Perform all the work of the unit as assigned by the university official and support the work of other units.
