JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are hiring a Content Writer Assistant to support the script-writing process at Ruhi Çenet Medya - a pioneer in the field of YouTube documentaries.

The office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a lunch break from 12:30 p.m to 1:30 p.m.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Searching for information from both English and Turkish sources,

Writing video scripts on given general culture topics,

Following the "introduction-bodies-conclusion" structure,

Writing catchy hooks and remarkable conclusions,

Finding and removing unnecessary information from the script,

Applying the given revisions,

Preparing interview questions before filming,

Watching the raw footage after filming; determining and transcribing the parts to be used in the video.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

Knows our YouTube channel and comprehends our vision,

Fluent in written and spoken English,

Patient to read and understand long texts both in English and Turkish,

Loves to research, to read books and articles,

Able to express their mind in the written language with clarity,

Good command of spelling and grammar rules in both languages,

Able to use Google Drive Documents,

Eager to learn and improve itself,

Perfectionist and detail-oriented,

Open to criticism and teamwork,

Hardworking and productive,

Impressive at storytelling,

Creative and original.
