Gökkuşağı Koleji, İSTANBUL (Ataşehir, Bahçelievler, Bahçeşehir, Beylikdüzü), ANKARA (Alacaatli), İZMİR (Çiğli), ANTALYA (Muratpaşa) veBURSA (Özlüce) kampüslerinde 2024-2025 akademik yılında göreve başlayıp ekibine güç katacak, (tercihen iletişim düzeyinde İngilizce konuşabilen), iletişim gücü yüksek, sabırlı ve disiplinli, öğrencilerine çocuk oldukları için sevgi, yarın büyüyeceği için saygı duyan GÖRSEL SANATLAR ÖĞRETMENLERİ arıyor.

Adaylar, ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise görsel sanatlar dersi ulusal veya uluslararası müfredatlar için değerlendirilebilir. IB PYP çerçeve programları, ulusal ve Cambridge Art&Design programları kapsamında etkinliklerini yürüteceklerdir.

WE’RE HIRING!

We are seeking suitably qualified individuals to join us as full time VISUAL ARTS TEACHERS who can teach in English at ISTANBUL (Bahcelievler, Bahcesehir, Beylikduzu, Atasehir), IZMIR(Cigli),BURSA(Ozluce), ANTALYA (Muratpasa) and ANKARA (Alacaatli) campuses for the academic year 2024-2025.

The expected time to join the team is late August 2024 or early September 2024.

Virtual interviews offered to qualified candidates who are eligible who reside outside the city or country for the position.  (The interviews-agreements should be completed by mid-July with the overseas applicants as the official workpermit processes takes about 2 months).

Beside the national curriculum, depending on the campus accreditations, we offer international programmes such us IB PYP, IB DP and Cambridge Pathway (Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower-Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge AS/A Level). Medium of instruction in these programmes is English so fluency in English is a must.Ongoing professional development trainings are provided by the school.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in education or relevant licence/certificate and has excellent knowledge of child development and latest education theories and practices and are principled and treat their students with tenderness and compassion.

In the primary and middle school, teachers will

  • help learners to express themselves, spark imagination, creativity and develop transferable skills; help them to explore and push boundaries to become reflective, critical and decisive thinkers
  • help students to learn to see themselves as artists and become increasingly reflective and independent; develop the skills needed to express creative ideas and to communicate visually; understand their place and the place of others in a creative, innovative and interconnected world
  • teach through a broad range of investigative, art-making and reflective activities. These include a number of study areas, for example painting, print making, model making or digital art; applying the curriculum content to local context

In the high school, teachers will help students to develop:

  • an ability to record from direct observation and personal experience
  • an ability to identify and solve problems in visual and/or other forms
  • creativity, visual awareness, critical and cultural understanding
  • an imaginative, creative and personal response
  • confidence, enthusiasm and a sense of achievement in the practice of art and design
  • growing independence in the refinement and development of ideas and personal outcomes
  • engagement and experimentation with a range of media, materials and techniques, including new media and technologies, where appropriate
  • experience of working in relevant frameworks and exploration of manipulative skills necessary to form, compose and communicate in two and/or three dimensions
  • a working vocabulary relevant to the subject and an interest in, and a critical awareness of, other practitioners, environments and cultures
  • investigative, analytical, experimental, interpretative, practical, technical and expressive skills which aid effective and independent learning
