Senior Linux Administrator

We are looking for a Senior Linux Administrator to manage our core infrastructure services.

• Minimum 5+ years Linux system administration experience
• Experience on an automation process using Ansible or Puppet
• Linux System Administration experience with RedHat, Debian 
• Familiar with the DevOps technologies and tools (Source Control, CI/CD, Infrastructure Automation, Deployment Automation & Orchestration, Container Concepts)
• Familiar with script automation using Shell Script, Perl, Python, Yaml, etc.
• Familiar with general networking TCP/IP,  network management on Linux servers
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with virtualization/virtual system administration (VMware, Hyper-V or Xen)
• Previously used the following applications, will be able to install, maintain and manage     

- Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Mysql, Nginx, Ldap, Docker, Ldap, Git, Ftp, Tomcat

•  Experience in infrastructure management in at least one of the following software languages

- Java

- .Net core

• Fluent in both written and spoken English

• Responsible for installing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting any issues for the Unix/Linux infrastructure that include Operating System, Cluster, Volume Manager, virtualization software, and databases
• Responsible for storage migration tasks such as creating, provisioning, copying, and mirroring disks
• Monitors event logs, systems resource utilization, perform server/application audits and health checks, and takes action accordingly
• Performs troubleshooting, incident, and error handling for systems
• Implementing change management processes and user requests on systems
• Assessing software versions, patches, firmware, and security patches. Implementing upgrades and security patches regularly
• Implementation of security policies on servers according to the best practices and company procedures
• Periodic monitoring of systems, performance tuning and capacity planning and trend analysis
• Know, follow and operate open source applications
• Performs troubleshooting, incident, and error handling for systems
• Implement best practices that will continuously improve service quality
