DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1-year hands-on native Android development experience
• Proficient with Kotlin and/or Java; Android Studio and Gradle
• Knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, Object Oriented software design and development
• Understanding of Design Patterns and Clean Architecture: MVVM, MVC
• Working knowledge of modern libraries and frameworks (Retrofit, Room, Dagger Hilt, Glide etc.)
• Knowledge of memory management, View Binding, Data Binding; handling asynchronous tasks
• Understanding of Web Services; REST APIs,JSONwith their use in mobile implementations
• Optimization, debugging and technical documentation skills
• Knowledge of UI guidelines, UX practices, multiple screen-sizes, pixel densities and responsive design; Vector Drawables, SVG, XML
• Experience with version control tools, such as GIT
• Familiarity with continuous integration pipelines is a plus
• Published one or more apps to GooglePlay is a plus
• At least BSs in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
