Project Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Leader to support the successful execution of product development projects within our R&D Department.

This role is ideal for an ambitious individual with a passion for project management and a desire to grow their career in the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional teams through all stages of the product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.
• Develop and execute project plans, including defining project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets.
• Coordinate activities across multiple functional areas, including R&D, engineering, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, and marketing.
• Drive project team meetings, facilitate communication, and ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolve issues, and escalate as necessary to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage project budgets and resource allocations.
• Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to key stakeholders, including senior management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and quality systems throughout the product development process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or, science
• 2- 5 years of experience in project management. Preferably within the medical device industry.
• Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and quality systems throughout the product development process.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
