Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering (or a related field).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role within the automotive industry. Experience should encompass production planning, logistics, and warehouse management.
• Excellent understanding of supply chain processes and planning methodologies.
• Proven experience using planning systems like MRP/ERP (e.g., LOGO, SAP, etc.).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a creative approach.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Inventory management expertise.
• Strong critical thinking and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience in fostering collaboration and building strong relationships with internal and external teams.
• Leadership qualities with a proven ability to manage both white-collar and blue-collar teams.

Job Description:

• Develop cost-effective solutions to optimize supply chain processes.
• Lead the definition of the supply chain strategy and forecasting practices. Ensure a comprehensive understanding of supply chain needs and constraints to manage and optimize the entire flow from suppliers to customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to create coordinated plans that drive business growth.
• Oversee all aspects of supply chain processes for compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
• Manage production planning and scheduling for all plant products in collaboration with production, commercial, and project teams.
• Negotiate the best prices and commercial terms with vendors.
• Conduct vendor audits to ensure product and process compliance.
• Maintain accurate records according to legal requirements.
• Implement technological solutions like Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to enhance efficiency.
• Track goods and service delivery from origin to destination.
• Negotiate freight rates with transportation providers.
• Consolidate shipments to optimize transport costs.
• Manage returns and damaged goods effectively.
• Develop accurate demand forecasts.
• Manage inventory levels and optimize warehouse storage practices.
• Conduct spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
