Science Teacher

Our school is hiring for the 2024-2025 Academic year in our campuses (Başakşehir, Esenyurt and Atakent). We are looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher with excellent subject knowledge and passion to face challenges and inspire our students. You must demonstrate excellent communication skills and possess the ability to settle quickly into dynamic classroom environments. 

You will be working alongside a great team of teachers and admin staff who will support you when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Science or Science Education

• At least 3 years of relevant experience

• Graduated from Education Faculties of Universities or having pedagogical formation 

• In accordance with MEB assignment requirements.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Native or near-native English speaker

• Equipped to deliver and develop curricula and programs

• Excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills

• Engage with students and foster positive relationships

• Experience in preparation for national or international exams (AP, SAT, IB) is a plus

• Ability to work with a diverse student body and faculty

• Open to work around new cultures and ideas, positive thinker, team player

• Technology literate, can use educational technologies to creatively present the curriculum face-to-face or online

• Able to bring your subject alive in the classroom, motivating your classes, especially through modern research techniques in Science teaching

• Provide sufficient challenge to your students, to ensure they excel in their learning

• Have a commitment to creating a productive educational experience for students

• Have a proven history of improving students’ performance

• Be flexible, enthusiastic and have a willingness to learn from others

• Have the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment
