Main Responsibilities

• Carrying out design functions properly in accordance with the quality system procedure and instructions
• Plan the design activities of existing products and considering the demands of the customers and senior management
• Prepare the design plans by evaluating offers or NCR (Non-Conformity Report) from other departments as Quality, Production, Purchasing, After Sales Services.
• Analyze tender specification and documents, to prepare technical report
• Ensure that the engineering team prepares technical report for the public incentives
• Ensure that staff works properly on the quality system and documents within the design flow
• Ensure that designs carried out properly on time and in accordance with requests
• Follow technological developments in rival products and make suggestions for applying to the firm
• Sustain and carry out the functions of design revision 
• Ensure to solve the problems encountered in the production or the assembly of the designed or selected products
• Identifying the software, equipment and device requirements for design and reporting to the purchasing department and monitoring their fulfillment
• Specify the trainings that design staff needs and to provide these trainings
• Ensure that design activities carried out by the related procedure and instructions
• Ensure that staff works accordingly by the work safety rules
• Carry out the recruitment, organization, training and management processes of the design staff
• Collaborating with potential or existing customers for technical instructions about the product
• Managing the department budget and planning,
• Producing cost effective solutions.
• Managing, analyzing and mitigating the project’s risks.
• Monitoring and managing technical field service operations related activities in the company.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related fields
• Worked as a Technical Manager for at least 10 years in Energy sector or Automotive industry 
• Excellent management and interpersonal skills
• Multi-sites management experience
• Result-oriented and strong planning and organization skills
• Fluent in English, as a second language German.
