HSE Specialist

We are looking for a " HSE Specialist " with the following qualifications to be assigned to our our new factory to be opened in Bergama.

If you have,

• B Class Safety Specialist Certificate from the Ministry of Labor
• 3+ years of experience in the operations/EHS in manufacturing environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety and health management (especially in Risk Assessment)
• Presentational skills with the ability to influence others to effect change in a positive manner
• Experience in EHS training, ISO14001, and ISO 45001 Management Systems
• Excellent communication skills with strong team workability
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs
• Solid knowledge and experience of relevant Turkish HSE laws, legislations and implementations and international HSE standards
• Driving Licence – B class
• No military obligation for male candidates

The duties you will be responsible for when you joined our new factory to be opened in Bergama as a "HSE Specialist" ;

• Monitor the implementation of company safety and environmental prevention procedures and action plans
• Develop and implement safety programs to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions
• Participate in Hazard Studies and process safety risk assessments
• Conduct site or area surveys to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant industry safety practices
• Investigate accidents and near misses to minimize recurrence and prepare accident reports
• Produce HSE statistics
• Conduct and coordinate required HSE trainings
• Develop a management system for health, safety and environmental control, meeting the requirements of relevant guidance and/or ISO standards
• Facilitate internal and external auditing as per divisional audit schedule and ensure tracking and close of remedial action
• Work together with Global HSE and implement Global procedures & standards to the region
• Advice, guide, support, promote awareness and coach all personnel with the implementation of the company's policies and procedures
• Coordinate inspections of project and service operations and carry out "walk throughs” monthly with site management of related division
• Management of emergency drills
• Informing the employees about the health and safety measures that are created as a result of the Health and Safety risk assessment
• Support the activities to update and maintain the ISO 45001 and 14001
• Follow up HSE KPI's of departments
• Good knowledge of waste management
