Qualifications

• A degree in electrical, electronics, mechatronics, control, automotive and mechanical engineering from a reputable university, Master's or PhD degree is an asset
• 3+ years of experience on electrified powertrain systems and calibratio
• Multi-discipline (mechanical, electrical, electronics, software) technical knowledge of electrified powertrain components, systems, and architectures
• Experience with calibration processes and calibration management tools like AVL Creta or Vector CDM.
• Experience in data acquisition and analysis with Vector CANalyzer/CANape, INCA or similar.
• Programming proficiency in Matlab, Python, or similar tools for data analysis and model creation.
• Good understanding of drivability/on board diagnostic/ thermal systems experiences are plus
• System thinking capability preferred
• Able to provide technical guidance to team members on what, why, and how
• Good English skills (spoken and written)
• A highly motivated self-starter and team-player with very good communication skills
• Willingness to travel abroad
• German is a plus

As a eDrive Control Calibration Engineer in the eDrive&Power Electronics Department of FEV Turkey, you will be part of a highly skilled team driven to design and engineer best-in-class electrified powertrains and electric vehicle control systems. You will take role in the projects for the calibration, testing and validation of electric vehicle control systems. You will work in a collaborative team environment. You will be contributing to the development of advanced concepts as well as their implementation for application to hybrid and full electric vehicles.

• Calibrate vehicle controls to meet drivability, performance, NVH, and efficiency goals
• Planning and execution of setup of testing environment at test benches, chassis-dyno (vehicle) as well as on road
• Coordination and execution of experimental campaign, including data post-processing and results evaluation, with focus on drawing conclusions about calibration strategies
• Coordination and preparation of customer documentation, attendance to regular customer meetings
• Planning, preparation and participation to testing trips and expeditions
• Develop and execute test plans to validate calibrations against subjective, objective, and functional safety requirements.
