Electrical Procurement Specialist

International Group – Istanbul, Turkey

B.L. Harbert International (BLHI) is looking for an Electrical Procurement Specialist to work with our International Group in Istanbul, Turkey. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Turkish and English, as a daily responsibility will be following up with on-site electrical coordinators, buyers, and outside vendors.

Responsibilities:

·     Expedite project material for international project sites

·     Track materials

·     Follow up with vendors on purchase orders that are late or missing items

·     Follow up with electrical buyers and on-site electrical engineers/managers to ensure necessary material is ordered

·     Write Purchase Orders from Purchase Requests in ERP (BLHI’s procurement/material tracking platform)

·     Work with ERP system to export data and follow up on any needed items

·     Close Purchase Orders in ERP system

·     Close Overages, Shortages and Damages in ERP system

·     Write Change Orders

·     Quality check of mechanical orders received in warehouse, as needed

·     Obtain and compare vendor quotes

·     Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

·     Turkish Citizen or Lawful Registered Resident

·     5+ years’ industry experience

·     Experience with MS Office Suite

·     Must be available to relocate to Istanbul, Turkey

Preferences:

·       Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Science, Industrial Distribution, or related field

Work Environment:

·       Must be able to work in an office environment

·       Must have flexibility with hours in order to better accommodate business needs

·       Must be willing to travel throughout Turkey and Internationally for business needs
