Field Service Specialist

Main tasks are:

• Install, maintain, trouble shooting & repair and support instruments on all levels for HW and/or SW
• Maintain and develop positive relationships with customers and references
• Assist in Meeting/exceeding sales targets and related KPI's in relation to maintaining high customer satisfaction
• Actively promote and sell Field Service products
• Utilize relevant databases to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness
• Positively represent QIAGEN in front of the customer, be a good example
• Promote QIAGEN or Partner driven customer satisfaction surveys

Position Requirements

• Good written and verbal local and English language communication skills
• Extensive travel required, national and internationally
• Availability to work shifts during the day, night and/or weekend
• Ability to lift ~50lb or 25kgs

Personal Requirements

• Technical and/or Scientific and/or Electronics Background, Preferable Automation experience HW and Applications
• Service and support experience within the after sales service business
• Formal certification in area
• Basic knowledge and/or skills in a subject area that normally were acquired within the scope of university education. The required degree is the bachelor's degree or a comparable qualification.
• Typically 2-5 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Valid Driver's License
