Homologation Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a "Homologation Engineer" for our Marketing Department for e-bus project.

Requirements of the position;

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in mechanical or automotive engineering or relevant engineering field.
• Certified and experienced in ISO 9001 auditing (internal and external)(preferably),
  
• At least 3 years  experience in the commercial vehicle industry.
  
• Turkish Language  & English Language (Fluent- Speaking, Reading, Writing), Chinese Language (will be plus)
  
• Having a valid driving license and active driver.
• Proficiency in Ms. Office Programs.
• Foreign companies working experience is preferred.
• Assertive, Optimistic, resilient and welcomes change.
• Enthusiastic about buses.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle market, including the product development process, legislation and standards.
• Effective team member, working with supervisor and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output.
• Able to travel in Turkey & Abroad.
• Living in Ankara (preferably near to Sincan)
• Completed Military Service (for Male Candidates)

Main responsibilities of the position;

• To understand (track) EC/ECE regulatory (revisions) requirements and their applicability to vehicle/subsystem/component compliance;

• To investigatelocal regulatory and registration requirements;
• To evaluat homologation-relevant and non-homologation-relevant design changes and special customer requests;
• To analyze the homologation impact of engineering changes (project/running business) on system certificates and WVTA;
• To support the vehicle development department in checking the regulatory compliance of components and systems throughout the development process;
• To prepare homologation tests by creating detailed homologation plans in close cooperation with engineering and test departments;
• To align and agree on the required type approval activities in close cooperation with technical services and type approval authorities;
• Scheduling, preparing and executing type approvals and archive the results in a traceable manner;
• Establishing a trusted relationship with legislation authorities
